Jame Goes Healthy: The Toyota Call

By Jamie • Nov 19th, 2008 • Category: Articles

We are into Day Three. I have accidentally fallen asleep twice already, and am still quite tired. So far, the regime is not working!

And then this morning, I got a phone call that brightened my day.

Picture the scene: I am lying in bed watching Friends when ‘London Bridge’ starts playing. Knowing that my phone is ringing, I spring up out of bed and pick up my phone. The number on the front is not one I recognise, so I hesitantly press ‘Answer’.

There is loads of background noise and I can barely hear the caller. After a few seconds of “Hello? Excuse me?” I manage to decipher the call…

Me: Hello?

Caller: Hello, Tim?

Me: Hello?

Caller: Tim, There seems to be a shortage on engine 3. *static* Sierra, Main….

Me: I think you have the wrong number.

*Cuts Out*

…20 Seconds Later….

Me: Hello?

Caller: Hello, Tim?

Me: I’m not Tim!

Caller: Sorry, I have the wrong number again…

*Cuts Out*

After the calls, I decided to plug the number into Google to see what came up: Toyota Car Manufacturing UK.

So, Tim, if you are listening, change your contact details! And there also seems to be a shortage on engine three…

Jamie Is Awesome. Enough said really. If there was a prize for the most awesome person in the universe...ok it probably wouldn't go to him, Neal Patrick Harris and Hugh Laurie would beat him hands down but Jamie would come in a close 67th. After a tabloid scandal involving a heavy night of drinking, a church and a teacup he was confined to the darkness of the computer lab where he spent many a day and night perfecting his coding ability. His amazing ability to code like no man before or after him led to the invention of not only this website but several other pointless sites.
